Transport Capital Team activities

our team was actively engaged in a variety of activities that strengthened our collaboration and showcased our expertise. From internal initiatives that brought us closer together to representing our company through insightful articles and industry contributions, 2024 was filled with meaningful moments.

Here’s a look at the highlights of our team’s efforts and achievements this year

Our collegues, Nicole Tan and Tom Zachariassen successfully completed the 20km route at the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) City Cycle 2024.

Nearly 150 participants embarked on the event last Saturday (13 April) traversing the eastern coastline of the city. The route commenced and concluded at PAssion Wave@Marina Bay, offering cyclists a scenic journey through Singapore’s stunning landscapes.

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we took part in Biodiversity Week by visiting the Fungi Agriculture Centre of Innovation in Singapore.

Guided by experts from the Mushroom World Academy (MWA), our team had the opportunity to delve into the captivating process of mushroom cultivation. The experience was both educational and enjoyable, culminating in a delightful mushroom tasting session that highlighted the versatility and importance of fungi in sustainable agriculture.

Our Deputy Managing Partner, Joshua Politis, was highlighted in an article by Pimfha C. on DealStreetAsia. He shared valuable insights on the limited scope for exit opportunities within the maritime start-up ecosystem.

This recognition showcased our expertise and thought leadership in the industry, contributing to meaningful discussions on critical market challenges.

We are proud to have been highlighted by Human Resources Online, where our HR Director, Lynette Lim (IHRP-SP), shared insights into how we integrated employee well-being into our broader HR strategies and business objectives.

This recognition underscored our commitment to prioritizing mental and physical health as key drivers of workforce engagement and productivity. We extend our gratitude to Human Resources Online for showcasing our journey and recognizing our efforts in this critical area.

Our commitment with sustainability

This year, we took significant strides in aligning our efforts with sustainability goals. Through strategic investments and meaningful partnerships, we strengthened our role in driving positive change within the industry.

 • Supporting Innovation: Pyxis, a partner of MarImpact, successfully raised USD 4.5 million in a seed funding round co-led by Motion Ventures and ShiftGood. We were proud to contribute to this initiative as investors, empowering innovative solutions in the maritime sector.
 • Joining Forces for Sustainability: We proudly became a member of the Coastal Sustainability Alliance (CSA), reaffirming our commitment to promoting sustainable practices and fostering collaboration for a healthier coastal environment.

Seahawk Investments GmbH

 • Seahawk Investments won the prestigious Lipper Fund Award Europe, Germany and Switzerland, in the category “Altermative Long/Short Equity Global for the award period 3 years”.

As we look back on a year filled with meaningful milestones and partnerships, we are more motivated than ever to continue our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and industry leadership. We are grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to collaborate with visionary partners and contribute to initiatives that shape a brighter, more sustainable future.

We look forward to building on these successes in the year ahead and continuing our journey toward positive change. Thank you for being part of our story.
