Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming our entire global team at our Singapore headquarters for our annual Global Management Meeting. The agenda was filled with a mix of networking events and insightful meetings, designed to both strengthen our team spirit and broaden our business perspectives. The eventful week started on a high note with the “Seahawk Private Luncheon” at the renowned Artemis Grill. This exclusive gathering celebrated the presence of some of Seahawk’s most esteemed clients, partners and associates.
22nd Annual Marine Money Week Asia 2023
Moving through the week, we had the honour to be part of the 22nd Annual Marine Money Week Asia 2023 held at the prestigious St. Regis Singapore from 26 to 27 September 2023. This highly-anticipated conference drew over 300 international delegates from the maritime and ship finance sectors. We proudly played a pivotal role in several panel discussions and keynote presentations, sharing insights on pertinent topics such as:
- Navigating the Intricacies of the Current Market: A Focus on Unprecedented Liquidity & Ample Risks
- Effective Strategies for Investing in Shipping Equities
- Contemporary Capital Allocation Strategies in the Shipping Domain

DEKA & HCOB Joint Reception
The agenda was further electrified as we, alongside our bank partners DEKA and HCOB, hosted a joint evening reception at our very own Singapore headquarters. Welcoming over 200 guests from cherished clients to new connections, the evening was marked by profound discussions, idea exchanges, and the forging of new alliances.

Management Training
The week’s vigor did not wane as we delved deep into self-awareness through a meticulously curated training on ‘Managing Unconscious Bias’. Upholding diversity as a cornerstone of our ethos, we are unwavering in our commitment to foster an inclusive and respectful workspace anchored in trust. This enlightening session by DEI specialist Caroline Callow from CATALYSE equipped us with tools to recognise biases within ourselves and effectively navigate them.
Annual Global Management & Partners Meeting
This was succeeded by our annual Management and Partners Meeting. During this two-day meeting, we undertook a rigorous assessment of our operational landscape, probing avenues for refinement and growth. It was a brainstorming juncture, urging each of us to think innovatively and strategise proactively.
Team Dinner
At the end of it all, we seized the rare opportunity of having our entire global team in one location. The week culminated in a splendid company dinner at Xi Yan Restaurant. It was a delightful evening where we celebrated our unity, milestones, and shared visions – and looking forward to more.
